The salesman came to my house and tried to sell me his service and I said no. Upon checking YELP reviews this appears to be a recurring pattern with other customers. According to "********'s Rights to Cancel Home Solicitation Contracts K-9 ********************* of ******** Affairs" the seller should have provided us with a DETACHABLE "Notice of Cancellation" form making the cancellation agreement clear and "conspicuous"We were not made appropriately aware of this $250 cancellation fee - everything was done on an ipad & later emailed.
So far we have paid $99 in June and $99 in July for what we were told verbally would be a $50 ******************** We called to complain and confirm cancellation and are now being told there will be a $250 cancellation fee. We were then charged another $99 for the month of July. When the technician returned in July, we requested to cancel and asked if this current visit was the SECOND visit at what we assumed was $50 - hence thinking we had already paid for TWO sprays, he confirmed and we allowed him to spray again in July and let him know we wished to cancel. We were later charged $99 for the month of June. The technician sprayed our home that day in June. We were offered a "deal - "Bimonthly" at $50 per month. We were solicited at our home with a verbal offer of pest control services.

Our company is run somewhat like a sports team in that everyone has to work and mesh together as a team to get the positive results we want and need. Henry County and McDonough area was one of the fastest growing areas in the USA for many years and is still experiencing heavy growth. What a Blessing ! I do believe God was guiding us. So I decided to just stay home and start my own business at home. I enjoyed the work but I have a family and small children and was away from home too much. That was not going to work for me so I spent a couple of years doing Defense Contract inspections on Military Base Housing. the company that I was doing most of my work for sold to a National Company. So I completed thousands of houses for Termites using my Famous "Timmy the Termite Dog" Many around Atlanta knew of him. My calling ! It was hard work but rewarding working with my dog.

I met a guy that trained Termite dogs and went to work learning how to apply a K9 to Termite inspections. I took my job seriously and really became a very good Termite inspector. Really liked going to different houses with different problems. I found that I really enjoyed the business. I thought it was just going to be a temporary scenario until I found my CALLING !
